Bio: Quinn Durrant, RBC Capital Markets
Quinn Durrant is a Vice President with the Derivative Solutions Group at RBC Capital Markets. Quinn started his career with RBC in 2012 upon completion of his Financial Economics (B.A.) degree from the University of Western Ontario. Quinn was initially hired into the Debt Capital Markets team where he helped advise corporate clients on strategies to access the Canadian, US and European bond market. In 2016, Quinn transitioned to the Derivative Solutions Group where he has since helped a wide range of corporate, government and mid-market clients hedge their interest rate and long-dated currency risk. Quinn is an active member of the community and is one of the the founding members of RBC Academy, a new initiative focused on educating youth about careers in financial services. In addition to this, Quinn is a math tutor for Grade 5 students and has started a scholarship for students in the Toronto District School Board.
