August 13: Join Robert Saik for his opening keynote and book launch on Agriculture 5.0, covering the journey of agricultural advancement that sees us at the dawn of Agriculture 5.0; a convergence of technologies that will re-shape the future of food production. Robert’s newest book will also be launched at AgSmart. Robert is CEO of DOT Ready Retail which is the marketing arm for the DOT autonomous robotic farming platform. In this capacity Robert is leading the transformation of broad acre agriculture by creating a new retail system bringing robotic technology, data and advisory services to farmers. As CEO of his holding company, Saik Management Group Inc., he provides consulting services to many organizations and serves on several boards and advisory committees. Robert was the founder of The Agri-Trend® Group of Companies now part of Trimble, He is a distinguished Agrologist, Professional Agricultural Consultant, agricultural entrepreneur and futuristic thought leader.

August 14: Greg Johnson, Tornado Hunter, will open the day with his keynote on Risk & Rewards as it relates to ag tech. Greg is one of North America’s top professional storm-chasers and severe weather experts, is also an accomplished photographer, speaker and workshop leader. Having graduated from Canada’s renowned Acadia University, and after founding and building a leading successful communications, marketing and advertising firm from the ground up, Greg decided it was time to devote himself full-time to pursuing his passion for capturing nature’s most beautiful and deadly displays of severe weather.
